Small is Beautiful: Micro Table Summer
We are experimenting with a new way of practicing Beloved Community this summer! From July 1st-August 31st, we will meet in small groups of 3-5 people to check in with each other. We will also only meet for 1 combined Table service at the end of each month (7/26/26 & 8/30/26). Our regular monthly events will remain the same, and each group has the freedom to connect in whatever way works for them.
For now, Micro Tables are for active Table members only. If you are not an active member, we invite you to join one of our combined monthly events or the "Sunday Scaries Spiritual Support Club"

What to expect
Every Sunday we gather in the Parish Hall at First Lutheran Church Fullerton at 11:00am to be present with each other and engage in Holy Conversations. You will be greeted by our members and are invited to get a name tag with your name and pronouns. There will be round tables for folks to sit at, with a basket of paper, pens, crayons, fidgets, and Table Tokens in the middle of each table. Feel free to use any of these items to help ground yourself or take notes. If you would like to participate in the day’s table discussion, take a Table Token to signify you are open to talk. If you don’t feel like sharing that day, no worries! Your presence here is enough, and we pray God speaks to you through listening to others. All are welcome at The Table, and all means ALL.
During our hour (sometimes an hour 15min) long service, there will always be a Call to Worship (a poem, prayer, or song to prepare our hearts), a reading from Scripture, a Holy Conversation (a discussion about the text), checking-in with each other on our “highs and lows”, prayers of the people, and Holy Communion.
The Parish Hall is a big spacious room with room for small kids to play/color in the midst of the tables (bigger kids/teens are invited to participate in our Holy Conversations. Their voice matters!). There is coffee, tea, music, and two single-stall gender inclusive restrooms.
Sunday Scaries Spiritual Support Club
Capitalism is hard, but community helps! Beginning on July 12th, join us Sunday nights at 7:00 PM on Zoom for a 30–45 minute gathering to help ease the transition into the week ahead. We'll check in with one another, engage in a simple spiritual practice, and offer mutual support as we prepare for whatever Monday may bring. No preparation. No pressure. No need to have it all together. Just a soft, accessible space to be in solidarity, find grounding, and remember that none of us have to do this alone. Open to everyone!
