Rev. Jaz Bowen-Waring

Pastor & Mission Developer

From life as a former evangelical Children’s pastor, to a queer Lutheran rabble-rouser, Rev. Jaz Bowen-Waring (They/Them) has spent their adult life pursuing the call of God and creating spaces where people feel they belong. Jaz is an ordained minister of word and sacrament in the ELCA, and has a Master’s of Divinity from Luther Seminary. Currently they are Pastor and Mission Developer at The Table OC in Fullerton, CA. In January 2019, they launched an LGBTQ+ centered ministry called Queerfully & Wonderfully Made, a “queer variety show with depth and meaning.” When Jaz isn’t manically obsessing over ministry and queer theology, you can find them getting cute drinks with their family and friends.

Rev. Greg Ronning

FOUNDER

Pastor Greg Ronning began his call as the Mission Developer Pastor at “The Table” in February 2014.  Pastor Greg is a graduate of California Lutheran University and he holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary.   He was ordained in 1988 and served at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Lafayette California as the Associate Pastor for Youth until 1993.  In 1993 he became the Campus Pastor at Texas Lutheran where he served until January 2014. He is currently enjoying retirement in Northern California.
