This Sunday at The Table

This Sunday we examine one of the so called “hard sayings of Jesus, ”Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and whoever does not take up the cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Those who find their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it.”  In order to discover what this all means we will also be looking back on the life of St. Francis of Assisi.  The Table meets at 11 AM in the Parish Hall at 215 N. Lemon Street in Downtown Fullerton!  All are welcome to join us!

Last Sunday at The Table

Last Sunday we had our first Service Sunday in Fullerton.  We gathered to prepare and serve sandwiches to share with our neighbors in need. Approximately 30 people responded to the invitation and we all enjoyed lunch together.  We plan to do it again on the Second Sunday of July!  (July 9th)

 Caring Hands Dinner

On the third Tuesday of each month First Lutheran Church and The Table are responsible for making and serving the weekly dinner for our friends and neighbors in need. The meal prep begins at 5:00 PM but you can join us whenever you are able.  The event ends around 7:30 PM.
