The Table will be joining the members of First Lutheran Church gathering travel size shampoo, soap, toothpaste, mouthwash, and other toiletries along with socks to create “Christmas Stockings” for our neighbors in need. We will gather at 9 AM in the Parish Hall for devotions, prayers, fellowship and the good work of assembling the stockings.
After, we’ll meet up for brunch at Monkey Business!
This summer our Sunday Gathering theme will be “The Ridiculous Journey: Following A Nobody from Nowhere!” This series, produced by “The Work of the People,” features short videos from Father Greg Boyle, Rev. Nadia Bolz-Weber, Richard Rohr, Rachel Held Evans, and others. We hope you will be able to join us for some wonderful Holy Conversations!
In the Gospel of Mark the first witnesses to the resurrection flee the tomb in “terror and amazement.” How do you understand the resurrection? How do see the resurrection unfolding in life today? What if we stopped running from resurrection and discovered creative ways to embrace it? Join us for a Holy Conversation.
We are continuing our discussion series on "Renounce, Resist, Rejoice: Being Church in the Age of Trump"
