The Table will be joining First Lutheran’s morning service at 9:00am on Sunday, 12/30. After service, we will meet for brunch at Monkey Business (across the street) at around 11am. Enjoy a lovely meal with friends as we support a local business that empowers at risk youth!
On Sunday 11/4 at 11am, we will gather for this year Día de los Muertos (The Day of the Dead) Celebration. Día de los Muertos is a joyous occasion when the memory of ancestors, loved ones, and the continuity of life is celebrated. As part of this celebration all are invited to bring special remembrances of loved ones to place on a special altar. Remembrances might include photos, poems, letters, favorite foods or objects that connect us with those loved ones we wish to remember. There will also be an opportunity to create remembrances before and after the worship service. Join us for this special worship service as we gather to remember the saints who have gone on before us, our ancestors and our loved ones, those who now rest in the everlasting grace of God.
This summer our Sunday Gathering theme will be “The Ridiculous Journey: Following A Nobody from Nowhere!” This series, produced by “The Work of the People,” features short videos from Father Greg Boyle, Rev. Nadia Bolz-Weber, Richard Rohr, Rachel Held Evans, and others. We hope you will be able to join us for some wonderful Holy Conversations!
In the Gospel of Mark the first witnesses to the resurrection flee the tomb in “terror and amazement.” How do you understand the resurrection? How do see the resurrection unfolding in life today? What if we stopped running from resurrection and discovered creative ways to embrace it? Join us for a Holy Conversation.
We are continuing our discussion series on "Renounce, Resist, Rejoice: Being Church in the Age of Trump"
